Go Ye Fellowship has had workers in various parts of Southeast Asia since the 1930's. The countries of Southeast Asia include Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam.
The people of this region represent a variety of faiths including Buddhism and Islam. There is also a Christian presence.
Evangelism is the greatest need, followed by the discipling of new believers and training of national leaders. Ethnic, religious, and political tensions create both obstacles and opportunities for ministry.
We at Go Ye Fellowship are excited about what God is doing in Southeast Asia. Work is difficult but rewarding. Our experienced missionaries often share with us the need for more workers. We share their burden for this part of the world. Some within our mission leadership have had experience in Southeast Asia and are well versed on the region.
If you feel called to minister within Southeast Asia, consider Go Ye Fellowship. If you feel God calling you to give to ministry in this area, Go Ye can connect you with a missionary needing support or a project that needs funding.
Like many other regions of the world, Southeast Asia is an ideal place for a tentmaker ministry. www.globalopps.org [1]
Pray for the lost of Southeast Asia and for workers and finance to reach this needy region.
